Chattanooga State’s Tennessee Technology Center (TTC), in collaboration with the Volkswagen Group of America Chattanooga Operations, is now accepting applications for the fall 2011 Automotive Mechatronics Program (AMP). The Mechatronics program, which began in the fall of 2010, was developed out of the partnership between the Tennessee Technology Center and the Volkswagen Group of America Chattanooga Operations.
Chattanooga State Community College will partner with two area Subway restaurants during the month of February to support the college’s Project AHEAD program. The two participating Subway stores, located at 2610 Amnicola Highway and 4420 Highway 58, will contribute 10% of the proceeds the two stores receive on each of the four Fridays during the month of February. The promotion, “Take Subway to Success,” launches on Friday, February 5 and continues each Friday during the month. The final three dates are February 12, 19, and 26.
Chattanooga State Community College will celebrate the opening of its new state-of-the-art Health Science Center on Tuesday, October 27. Designed to be an informal event, the grand opening is an invitation to the public to visit Chattanooga State’s Health Science Center between 4-6 p.m. During this time visitors will be able to tour the facility and meet with faculty as they learn about the 20 fully-accredited healthcare programs offered through the college.
