Eligibility for TCAT Financial Aid
TCAT Financial Aid has its own guidelines for eligibility and its own Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards.
- A High School Diploma, HiSet Diploma, or GED is not required for most TCAT programs.
- A High School Diploma, HiSet Diploma, or GED is required for federal Financial Aid.
- No minimum GPA is required, though some exceptions may apply.
Steps to Apply for TCAT Financial Aid

Acquire a Federal Student Aid ID. (You can create one here.)
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Apply to ChattState and declare a major in a TCAT program.
Verify information on your Student Aid Report (SAR)
Approximately 1-4 weeks after submitting your FAFSA, yourresults are reported to you on a Student Aid Report (SAR).
