Chattanooga State Community College and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga highlighted a renewed articulation agreement between their honors programs during the Wednesday, March 25, Power C Tour event at ChattState's campus.

The agreement strengthens a transfer pathway for students in Chattanooga State’s Honors Program to continue their academic careers in UTC’s Innovations in Honors program. ChattState Honors invites students from all majors who share intellectual curiosity and academic achievement. Honors students gain access to small class sizes, study abroad opportunities, and global perspectives while participating in co-curricular activities and engaging in service learning projects.

“Today marks a defining moment for ChattState Honors scholars—celebrating not only their achievements, but the pathway ahead through transfer to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s Innovations in Honors program,” Wood said. “It represents a bridge between potential and purpose, equipping students with the opportunities, support, and confidence to succeed here and to thrive as they continue their academic journey and beyond.”

Power C Tour highlights a clear path to an affordable 4-year degree. Chattanooga State and UTC offer a dual-admission program for transfer students, offering a smooth transition from ChattState to UTC upon earning an associate's degree.
