The mission of the Outdoor Museum of Art is to bring the highest quality art to Chattanooga State Community College. The rotating exhibits provide a diversity of styles, types and ethnic origins, educating the students and the public.

Started originally as a campus wide "Sculpture Garden," Chattanooga State's Outdoor Museum of Art is a planned, dedicated space of five acres in the heart of the campus for outdoor sculpture and for art events. The unique outdoor setting of the museum allows for an aesthetic landscaped environment with multiple purposes.
