All currently enrolled students are required to have a valid Chattanooga State student identification card, and it must be updated each semester. Students need ID cards in order to check out library materials, take tests in the Testing Center, and be admitted to various student activities around campus. Plus, they can get you student discounts at area businesses!
Requirements to Obtain Your ID
- Must have confirmed classes or receipt
- One of the following government issued photo ID
- Valid Driver’s License
- Valid State Photo ID
- Current Passport
* There is a $2 replacement fee for lost or stolen cards. Payment must be made to the Bursar’s office (Student Center, Rm 140) first, then present your receipt to the ID technician.

Employees and students must have a current parking permit displayed on their vehicles while on campus. There is no charge/fee to obtain a parking permit. Register for one with the link above and it will be available for pick-up in the Bursar’s Office.
