Position Description


Position Summary

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

Greet students and guests, hand out appropriate materials answer inquiries regarding registration with CAADS. Test proctoring duties include; entering testing passwords, monitor cameras Answer phones, take messages Assist students with eLearn Clean computer lab desks, computer keyboards. Monitor handout materials and sign-in sheets, print duplicates as needed. Monitor pencils and pens, sharpen and replace as needed.  

Required Qualifications

Maintain confidentiality guidelines regarding students, sensitive documents and password protection while proctoring. Professional demeanor, while also demonstrating a positive, friendly and caring attitude. Knowledge of various computer software and database systems. Excellent multitasking abilities and strong organizational & communication skills.  

Work Experience

Prior experience with office clerical duties, office computers, and in-person customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

In-person public service/customer service experience. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot minor computer technology issues. Experience working in a busy environment, and at times providing service to unhappy customers.  

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

Must be comfortable, sitting, standing and walking repeatedly throughout the day. Be observant and possess excellent vision for monitoring students.
