Position Summary
  • IWS
Typical Duties and Responsibilities

Works with the auditorium manager to: Setup for live events, Run live events (including lighting, audio, and video/streaming) Break down after events, Help with maintenance and testing of theatrical systems. Keep track of all time worked, Other duties as prescribed. 

Required Qualifications

Able to lift 30+ lbs. Able to work in the evening. (most events are at night) Able to learn and control at least one of the theatrical technical systems (lights, audio, or video) under the supervision of the auditorium manager. Able to keep track of time worked for payroll 

Work Experience

Work experience is helpful but not necessary.  

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience with theatrical systems preferred including: Audio Lighting Video Streaming Fly Rail Carpentry Wardrobe 

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

Ability to lift 30+ lbs Ability to work evenings for some events. 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Work Characteristics

Any prior knowledge of theatrical systems is a plus. All knowledge required for this position can be taught by the auditorium manager. Schedule can and will vary from week to week depending on events scheduled. Time worked is to be entered into tigerweb on a daily basis.
