Position Summary
  • FWS
Typical Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operation of the ISLO (Institutional Student Learning Outcomes) Game and related student engagement activities.

• Support students with understanding and participating in the ISLO Game and navigating their ePortfolios (training will be provided).

• Organize, set up, and maintain CTL resources, materials, and supplies.

• Assist with promotional events and outreach for ISLO-related activities.

• Track student participation data and provide basic feedback to the supervisor.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the CTL area.

• Possess a positive, friendly, and professional attitude.

• Be reliable, punctual, and respectful in a team environment.

• Willingness to learn new skills and follow the supervisor's instructions.

• Must be enrolled as a student during the time of employment. 

Work Experience

• Previous customer service experience preferred (retail, hospitality, or office environment).

• Experience working in a team-based setting. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with common computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and eLearn (or other LMS platforms).

• Experience with student support tools.

• Comfort with public speaking.  

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

• Ability to move and arrange light equipment, display boards, or materials as needed (up to 25 lbs).

• Must be able to work in a shared office environment and interact respectfully with a diverse population.

• Must not have any conditions (e.g., uncontrolled asthma) that could interfere with duties in indoor public settings.
