Required Qualifications- Positive attitude and strong work ethic; must work well with others
- Must be able to do some moderate lifting
- Must be able to take, read, and understand basic measurements
- Must be able to work independently once given a task
Work Experience- No experience required
- Carpentry experience or sewing experience would be considered an asset
Preferred Qualifications- Preference for shop assistant jobs will be given to Theatre Design/Tech and Theatre Performance majors.
- Experience in theatre
- Experience with carpentry
- Experience with sewing
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions- Some moderate lifting will be required; sometimes heavier lifting may be requested
- Will need to be comfortable climbing and standing on a ladder
- Will need to be comfortable going up and down stairs
- Must be comfortable with work that will occasionally be messy (i.e. painting or spray painting)
