September 30, 2021

Dear Chattanooga State Family,

It is hard to believe that we have completed our first 7-week session! Whether you are wrapping up your first session of classes or the first half of your semester, I hope you take the fall break to rest and recharge. I am so pleased that for the first time, Chattanooga State’s fall break is one full week. I hope that the week-long break will be relaxing and that you will return ready to focus.

Mask Requirement on Campus

Chattanooga State is currently operating with unlimited campus access and a mask requirement when indoors regardless of vaccination status. The facemask requirement has been extended to December 31. At that time, the College will reassess this requirement.

Student Surveys

  • Survey of Entering Student Engagement (SENSE)

Let us know how we are doing so far!

Eligible new students received an email with a link to the SENSE 2021. Eligible students will also see a link once logged in to TigerWeb. Responses will guide Chatt State in improvements for student supports and services for entering students. The survey is only open through Friday, October 1 so please make plans to complete it today. If you are a new student who is 18 years or older enrolled in at least one credit course and did not receive the email or do not see the link in TigerWeb, please contact Traci Williams.

  • Student Feedback on 7-week Courses

Students, we want to improve our 7-week courses to best support you. Please take a moment to complete the following survey. The information provided will be reviewed by the 7-week Student Success and Logistics Committees. Here is a link for the survey. A link to the survey can also be found in eLearn and on the ChattState Students Facebook page.
