September 1, 2021

Dear Chattanooga State Family,

For those of you in 7-week classes, you are approaching the half-way mark. Well done!  We hope you are settling into the semester and the work. Please take advantage of the resources we have here on the campus to help you be successful as you pursue your goals, both on and off campus. You will see a list of resources later-on in this update.

We continue to monitor the number of COVID-19 cases on campus and in our community. We hope to be able to continue with classes in person. Help us to do that! Please remember to wear your mask while indoors.

The best way all of us can prevent the spread of COVID-19 and end the pandemic is to get vaccinated. If you have not been vaccinated, I encourage you to take advantage of one of the many opportunities in our community to get vaccinated free of charge. Please visit the Hamilton County Health Department website to see a list of vaccination locations, dates and time. Please note that the Riverpark vaccination site is just next door to the campus on Amnicola Highway.
