Chattanooga, TN (May 11, 2016) --- Since 1982 more than 650,000 high school students have participated in the annual Artistic Discovery competition, now called the United States House of Representatives Congressional Art Competition. The competition, held each Spring, provides an opportunity for members of Congress to recognize the artistic talents of their young constituents. With 112 entries, this competition in the Tennessee Third District was one of the largest in the United States. The Third District includes 11-Counties: Anderson, Roane, Union, Morgan, Campbell, Scott, McMinn Monroe, Polk, Bradley and Hamilton.
