Fine Arts Kick Off Spring Semester

Chattanooga, TN (January 26, 2016) --- Chattanooga State’s Fine Arts Department kicks off the Spring 2016 semester with an art exhibition, comedy improv, and musical offerings.

Students in fine arts classes are exhibiting their drawings, paintings, and photographs in the Center for Advanced Technology and Tennessee College of Applies Technology student galleries as well as in the Donald F. Andrews Reading and Writing Center on a continual basis throughout the semester.

Need a good laugh? Enjoy a series of Friday Night Comedy Improv presentations beginning at 7:30 p.m. on February 6, 12, and 19 in the Humanities Theatre. Students in the Professional Acting Training Programs and faculty will tickle your funny bone with their comedy improvisation.

On March 1, the Chattanooga State Concert Choir will present an evening of choral and instrumental masterworks. The concert features performances by ChattState students, faculty and members of the Chattanooga Symphony beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Humanities Theatre.
