Already trained?  You can take the CDL Practical Exam at Chattanooga State.  See the steps below.

Step 1:  Driver pays $200 ($75 test, $125 lot fee) for test: cash, debit, or credit.

• Main Campus Bursar's office in the Student Center
• TCAT Administration office in TCAT Building 1
• Other Chattanooga State campus locations (Dayton, Kimball, East)

Step 2:  Driver brings required documents to : CDL facility , 4913 Adams Road, Hixson, TN 37343

1. Proof of test payment
2. Proof of vehicle insurance
3. Proof of vehicle registration
4. Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

Step 3: While at the CDL facility, driver schedules the test and signs an awareness form .

Step 4: Driver arrives 15 minutes early with truck at the CDL facility for the scheduled test.
