Theatre: Evil Dead the Musical
“The classic cult films come to life on stage in one of the craziest, funniest, and bloodiest theatrical experiences of all time.” (Music Theatre International)
This musical combines elements from the first two films in the cult classic horror film series Evil Dead, which is about five friends who go to a cabin in the woods and discover that the woods are possessed by demonic forces. This musical is directed by Garry Posey, music directed by Jennifer Wilson, choreographed by Lindsay Fussell, and features fight choreography from Tyler Buckingham, a Chatt State alumnus who has gone on to do professional acting, fight choreography, and stunt work for film and television in Atlanta. EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
This musical is RATED R for explicit language, sexual innuendo, and approximated violence and gore. This production is NOT suitable for children.
Tickets are FREE for ChattState students, faculty, staff, and theatre department alumni. $15 general admission. Reserve your tickets now.
All events are free to the public (except as noted) and are presented at the Chattanooga State Humanities Theatre (except as noted), 4501 Amnicola Highway.
Donations will be accepted at the door.
