The Harlow Shapley Lectures Series is a program of two day visits by professional astronomers who bring the excitement of modern astronomy and astrophysics to colleges of all types. It's sponsored by the American Astronomical Society, and all costs except for the reception are covered by the AAS and NASA Network for Community Colleges.
