Join us for an information session about how you can earn while you learn as an apprentice at BASF. Interested Candidates will be able to apply to the program on the spot!

As an apprentice, you will:

  • Kickstart your career with HANDS-ON training.
  • Receive FULL-TIME pay while you learn.
  • Obtain a transferable certificate of completion from the US Department of Labor.
  • Earn industry-recognized credentials at no cost. 

To be successful, you will need the:

  • Ability to analyze and solve problems to determine the root cause.
  • Desire to work collaboratively on a team while also making a strong individual contribution.
  • Passion to learn and grow and to continuously build your skills and abilities.
  • Motivation, dedication, and drive to initiate and succeed.

Lunch & Learn: "The Cost of Climate Change" presented by Dr. Leah Dundon (Director of the Climate Change Initiative at Vanderbilt)

Dr. Leah Dundon is a highly respected expert on climate change, and is the Director of the Climate Change Initiative at Vanderbilt University. She holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering, as well as a J.D. In addition to teaching at Vanderbilt University, where she and her students have worked with the United Nations to mitigate climate change, Dr. Dundon also practices environmental law. Chattanooga State is excited to bring Dr. Dundon to campus.
