Tennessee Reconnect

Chattanooga State seeks to locate and re-engage adults as a part of Tennessee's Drive to 55 campaign. We are looking for qualifying students to help in financing the education they desire right now. If you meet the qualifications below then please complete the TN Reconnect Application.

Information Sessions: February - April

  • Main Campus- 1st & 3rd Wednesday, 10:00 am, IMC 124
  • Main Campus- 2nd & 4th Tuesday, 5:30 pm, IMC 124
  • Main Campus- 4th Saturday, 10:00 am, IMC 124
  • Kimball campus- 1st Thurs, 3:00 pm
  • Dayton campus- 1st Tues, 3:30 pm

Guidelines to Qualify for TN Reconnect

  • Be a Tennessee resident for at least one year leading up to the student’s FAFSA submission date
  • Complete the FAFSA and meet the FAFSA definition of an independent student
  • Not have previously earned an associate or baccalaureate degree
  • Be admitted to and enroll in a Tennessee public community college at least part time (minimum 6 hours) in courses leading to a certificate or associate degree
  • Complete the application in the TSAC portal
  • Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
  • Not be in default on a student loan
  • Not have an outstanding balanced of previously awarded financial aid to an institution
  • Not be incarcerated
