Chattanooga State strives to not only support students academically, but also in their life away from campus. The staff in Student Support is keenly aware of the many variables that can compromise a student's journey to the completion of required coursework and graduation. Over the years, several areas of support have been developed to address the needs of our student population.
Adult Services gives support to students age 24 and above who are returning to college or attending college for the first time. Counseling Services provide both individual and group counseling for students needing stability in various areas of their life. Disability Support aids students, who have disabilities that might impede their success in college, with services that level the playing field. Multicultural Services works to create an atmosphere of inclusion on campus for all students regardless of their race, nationality or religious affiliation. Students who take advantage of these services have a less stressful and more fulfilling college experience at Chattanooga State.
