Dear Chattanooga State Family,
This weekend we are excited to host our Re-imagined Latin Fest. The festival serves to honor and recognize the American Latino community during Hispanic Heritage Month.
This free community event is an open house-styled event with a focus on welcoming our growing Hispanic population to Chattanooga State. “We want to showcase all we have to offer to support our students,” stated Quincy Jenkins, executive director, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). Some of those activities include campus tours, campus resources, community organizations, cultural performances, and fun activities for children. We hope you will join us!
We are midway through week 5 of the first seven-week session. For those taking seven-week classes, you are so close to finishing the first session. Stay focused and be sure to communicate with your instructors if you need help and take advantage of the student resources we have available to help you.
We are resilient. We are innovative. We are united. We are ChattState.
Rebecca Ashford, Ed.D.

Responses will guide Chatt State in improvements for student supports and services for entering students. The survey is only open through October 1 so please make plans to complete it as soon as possible. If you are a new student who is 18 years or older enrolled in at least one credit course and did not receive the email or do not see the link in TigerWeb, please contact Traci Williams.
Various Student Surveys
Various other survey or research project invitations may be sent to student emails throughout the year from either a member of the IERP office or from email@example.com. These emails will have a note at the top that they have been reviewed and approved by IERP. All surveys or research projects are voluntary but please read invitations carefully to know what the study entails and the purpose. If you have questions about a research invitation that you receive, feel free to contact Traci Williams.
