Chattanooga State is a special place designed to give you an inviting setting to learn and gather with friends. Our beautiful campus is located on the Tennessee River, just 10 minutes northeast of downtown and serves as the center of the ChattState community. It features the renowned Outdoor Museum of Art (OMA), a five-acre preserve in the heart of the campus highlighted by a sculpture garden. You’ll also find a wide range of modern athletic facilities, performance spaces, libraries, and academic centers to provide all the resources you need to excel here.

This 13-mile trail connects the Chickamauga Dam to downtown Chattanooga and is one of the city’s crown jewels. The one-of-a-kind path runs right alongside campus and gives you a unique opportunity to take a breather, enjoy the views, or get some exercise—running, biking, or walking—along the shores of the Tennessee River.
