Chattanooga State to Host Information Session About Classes Focusing on the Professional Film and Television Industry

Chattanooga State Technical Community College will host an information session on Wednesday, January 14, at 5:30 p.m. to preview the spring 2009 courses that concentrate on the film and television industry. The session will be held in Room 125 in the IMC Building, which is located on Chattanooga State’s main campus at 4501 Amnicola Highway. The event is open to the public free of charge. Students interested in learning about these courses and in learning about career opportunities in the film and television industry are encouraged to attend.  Registration for these classes is presently underway. All film and television classes will be taught in the evenings and on weekends. These classes are

  • CO 250 Intro to Film/TV Technology;
  • CO 251 Production Assistant Intern; and
  • CO 253 Professional Film Lighting.

Chattanooga State’s spring 2009 semester begins on January 15, 2009.
