The Chattanooga State Business Division established a partnership with Agilysys, a provider of hospitality software solutions and services, to help the college secure specialized software for student use within the Hospitality and Tourism Management program.
The rGuest Stay Resort Property Management Software is utilized for managing a resort or hotel, and Agilysis is providing this software subscription at no cost to our students taking the Property Management Systems course at Chattanooga State.
“With the Agilysys software in place, our students practice and explore the system and have as much training time as they need,” says Dan Zink, director of the Hospitality & Tourism Management program at Chattanooga State. “Using an automated hotel operations system like rGuest is the foundation of the course.”
Chattanooga State’s Hospitality and Tourism Management program offers a concentration in hotel management in addition to culinary arts, food and beverage management, and tourism management.
