“Music of the World” featuring the Symphonic Band
Join the Chattanooga State Symphonic Band for a musical journey around the world. The round-trip will include musical stops in Spain, England, Russia, Italy, Korea, and of course, America! The Symphonic Band is led by Nicholas Hartline and includes students from the college, the STEM School of Chattanooga, Collegiate High School, as well as community volunteers.
All events are free to the public (except as noted) and are presented at the Chattanooga State Humanities Theatre (except as noted), 4501 Amnicola Highway.
Donations will be accepted at the door.

Adjunct Faculty - Open House
The Economic and Workforce Development Division is looking for individuals who have a passion for teaching, who have a specific skill set to share with the community, and are ready for a part-time position instructing adult learners who want to advance and better their careers, or who are looking to up-skill their lives to obtain a better or different career.
The following are current specific areas we are seeking instructors for:
- Heavy Equipment Operators Course
- Limited Residential Contractors License Course
- Residential Continuing Education Classes
- Excel I, II, and III
- Project Management
- Data Analytics
- IT Support
- Leadership
- Technical Trainers for PLC and Robotics
These classes are Non-Credit with an emphasis on workforce development and contract training. Teaching opportunities may be daytime, evening, or weekend classes, depending on the demand. All positions are part-time. Experience is preferred, but not required for all areas.
During the open house, applicants will have the opportunity to meet with staff to discuss qualifications and employment opportunities.

Egg-stravaganza Open House
Join us at ChattState for an Egg-stravaganza Open House! This event is designed to give you an opportunity to meet with faculty, administrators, and students. You'll have a chance to explore our state-of-the-art labs and learn about various aspects of the college experience, such as admissions, financial aid, scholarships, career planning, student activities, and campus organizations.
While you explore the campus and gather valuable information, enjoy light refreshments from Soul Que, Peach Cobbler Factory, and Come Clean Entertainment.
We haven't forgotten about the little ones! Bring your kids along to enjoy a fun-filled day with an exciting egg hunt, engaging games, and a bouncing house to keep them entertained and active.
