Attention: TEAS Test Changes
As of September 1, 2016, the TEAS exam will be changing to a 4-part test (Reading, Math, Science and English/Language Usage). All students will be required to take the 4 part test if applying to a health program after September 1, 2016. This only applies to programs that require the TEAS for application. New TEAS exam dates will be published late August - early September 2016.

The Testing Center provides test administration and proctoring for Chattanooga State students, distance learners, placement testing,credentialing exams and serves as an official High School Equivalency Exam Testing site for this region.

General Testing Requirements

Required Items

  • Students (anyone taking a course from Chattanooga State): Chattanooga State ID
  • Non-Students: Driver's License
  • Cash or Check for testing fees
  • View specific test information to the right for additional requirements

What is Prohibited

  • Cell phones
  • Digital watches
  • Alarm watches
  • Wristwatch cameras
  • Photographic or copying devices
  • Hats/scarves, etc.*
  • Hoodies
  • Listening devices such as radios, media players with headphones or recorders
  • Food
  • Drinks
  • Children
  • Pets
  • Sunglasses
  • Visitors

*Unless worn as a religious requirement or for medical reasons
