Automotive Technology
Automotive technicians repair and service motor vehicles. The technician must be able to make a quick and accurate diagnosis and have good reasoning ability. Also, the technician will use highly sophisticated electrical and computerized tools of which he/she must have a thorough command.
ASE testing is available on campus through the ACT Testing Center located in the Center for Business, Industry and Health Programs (CBIH) building. Students entering Chattanooga State's automotive technology program will be working toward Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification in the following areas:
