MISSION

Welcome to Chattanooga State Technical Community College Financial Aid website. The mission of the Financial Aid Office is to support and enhance the overall mission of the college and assist students in their pursuit of their educational goals. We understand a college education is an investment in your future and we want to support you in completing your educational goals by assisting you in obtaining financial resources. Financial Aid is available in the form of scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study. Most federal and state financial aid programs are awarded on the basis of financial need. Need is defined as the difference between the cost of attendance and the Expected Family Contribution (EFC). The EFC is determined by a standard formula established by the federal government.
