Position Description

Position Summary
  • Federal Work Study Student (B.O.S.S. Mentoring Program)
Typical Duties and Responsibilties
  • Assist support programs for BOSS students including tutoring services and other duties as assigned
  • Maintain appropriate data and generate reports as needed
  • Assist in student communication functions within the BOSS office
  • Provide general clerical assistance such as typing and filing
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • Education and Training: Must have completed High School diploma or GED
Work Experience
  • Two years of experience in a business office setting
  • Student should be college level in English, Reading, and Mathematics
  • Ability to deliver outstanding customer service via e-mail, telephone, and other methods of communication
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision 
Preferred Qualifications Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
  • Ability to run errands on campus as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
