The Social
and Behavioral Sciences Department offers courses in 10 academic disciplines to fulfill the
general education requirements of all transfer and career
program options. These disciplines include: Psychology, Sociology, History, Human
Services, Geography, Political
Science, Physical Education, Education, Early Childhood Education and American Sign
Language.
Students can complete the first two years of a Baccalaureate degree and gain essential knowledge and skills to be successful in 16 different fields of study. In addition, the division offers an Associate of Applied Science degree in Human Services and Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education.
