Human Services Specialist

The aging population and the continued assistance needed by society's poor and disadvantaged means that the demand for qualified humans services workers will increase over the next ten years. Graduates can pursue a career as a social worker, drug counselor, activity therapist, crisis companion, or as a technician in either the area of mental health or geriatrics.

Students can pursue the career path option leading to an associate of applied science degree in Human Services Specialist or a transfer option leading to an associate of science degree in Social Work.
