Studying history will serve you well regardless of your area of concentration. Historians investigate, analyze and write about past events to bring perspective to current events. Modern historians specialize in the study of specific regions of the world and particular themes or topics from the past.
History majors can pursue careers working as teachers, librarians, museum curators, researchers for historical organizations, archivists, journalists, documentary editors and more.
