Coaches' Workshops

Frequently I get information about workshops in other locations.  I will post notices of such workshops along with links to their web sites as I receive them. 

The Coast-to-Coast Coaches Conferences will be held this year in Sacramento (Sept. 26-27, 2008), Orlando (Oct 17-18, 2008) and Milwaukee (Nov 7-8, 2008).  The cost is $125 and includes Friday night dinner, Saturday breakfast and lunch. The Annual NC Coaches Clinic will be October 24-25, 2008 at Centennial Campus Middle School on NC State's Centennial Campus.  The cost is $95 before Oct 3 and $120 after that.  For additional information go to http://www.sciencenc.com/Coaches_institute/index.htm.

Invitational Tournaments

Pope John Paul II High School, in Nashville, will be hosting an invitational tournament in January.  This is an excellent way for your teams to get some practice before the actual regional tournaments in February and March.  It will help you identify weak areas that you can work on over the next month.  Please watch this space for additional information
