The assessments are untimed, which accommodates many IEP requirements. And, since the model is based on mastery learning, the student must pass all the assessments for each unit. So, students may take the quizzes/tests as many times as necessary to show mastery of the concept. The student may also receive support from the teacher/facilitator and inclusion support as he/she would for any other course. However, the content and learning outcomes CANNOT be modified; every student must master all 5 LS competencies as designed. Any bridge math concepts that are not delivered through the software may be delivered by any means the school would normally use to support the IEP.
