General Information

  • Fee payment arrangements must be made at the time of regular or late registration.
  • A $10 late fee will be charged to students who register on or after the official first day of classes.

  • Application fees (admission and graduation) are non-refundable.
  • Exceptions to withdrawal deadlines are approved by the Vice President for Academic Affairs under extenuating circumstances only. Exceptions to refund deadlines are approved by the Vice President for Financial Affairs under extenuating circumstances only. All withdrawals are initiated via the Career Planning and Counseling Center and must be processed in the Records Office.
  • If a student who owes a deferred payment withdraws from school, the difference between the portion of charges that would normally be refundable, if any and the amount paid on the deferred payment plan becomes immediately due and payable in full.
  • Special Note for Financial Aid Recipients: The Higher Education Amendments of 1998 changed the formula for calculating the amount of aid a student can retain when the student totally withdraws from all classes. Students who drop, withdraw or stop attending classes prior to completing more than 60% of an enrollment term will have the aid recalculated based on the percent of the term completed and may be required to repay aid awarded. Please consult the Financial Aid office for specific rules governing aid.
  • All financial obligations must be met before grades or transcripts can be released and/or future registration is permitted.

*Note: This calendar is subject to change at any time prior to or during an academic term due to emergencies or causes beyond the reasonable control of the institution including severe weather, loss of utility services or order by federal or state agencies.

If a student classified out-of-state applies for in-state classification and is subsequently so classified, his or her
in-state classification is effective as of the date on which reclassification was sought. However, out-of-state
tuition will be charged for the term during which reclassification is sought and obtained unless application for reclassification is made to the admissions officer on or before the last day of registration of that semester.
