Name, Address, Phone, SSN Change
It is the student’s obligation to notify the Enrollment Services Office of any change in name, social security number, or address. Name and/or social security changes require documentation. Failure to do so can cause serious delay in handling student records and in notification of emergencies at home.

Out-of-state Fee Waivers
In an effort to accommodate students from neighboring counties in Alabama and Georgia, Chattanooga State will consider any student, who meets eligibility requirements for in-state tuition. The applicant must be a legal resident of one of the following locations: Jackson County, Alabama; or Catoosa, Dade, Murray, Walker, Whitfield, or Fannin County, Georgia. A new form is required for each registration (including when the schedule is deleted for non-payment) and must be received after registration and before you pay your fees. Without this form, the student will be charged and obligated to pay out-of-state tuition. Deliver your completed request to the Enrollment Services Office, Fax to (423) 697-3490 or mail to the Records Office, 4501 Amnicola Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37406.
Military personnel and their spouses stationed in the State of Tennessee who would be classified out-of-state in accordance with other provisions will be classified out-of-state but shall not be required to pay out-of-state tuition – must provide current orders. This provision shall not apply to military personnel and their spouses who are stationed in this State primarily for educational purposes.
