The Records Office is committed to:
- Providing inclusive, efficient and timely information and services to our students, faculty, alumni, administrators and staff
- Maintaining accurate student academic records to ensure the integrity of the Chattanooga State Community College credential;
- Offering high quality and courteous customer service in an efficient, professional, and ethical manner.
The Records Office provides assistance to:
- Students with the admission process and see them through to the graduation.
- Former students (alumni) by responding to written requests for transcripts.
- Faculty, administrators, and staff by providing training and policy clarifications when applicable.
Tasks performed in the records office include:
- Address, name, major/program changes
- Beginning of term set-up including the initial schedule development
- End of term processing including posting of academic standings
- Official transcript generation
- Official degree-audit review and posting.
