The Records Office is committed to:

  • Providing inclusive, efficient and timely information and services to our students, faculty, alumni, administrators and staff
  • Maintaining accurate student academic records to ensure the integrity of the Chattanooga State Community College credential;
  • Offering high quality and courteous customer service in an efficient, professional, and ethical manner.

The Records Office provides assistance to:

  • Students with the admission process and see them through to the graduation. 
  • Former students (alumni) by responding to written requests for transcripts. 
  • Faculty, administrators, and staff by providing training and policy clarifications when applicable.

Tasks performed in the records office include:

  • Address, name, major/program changes
  • Beginning of term set-up including the initial schedule development
  • End of term processing including posting of academic standings
  • Official transcript generation
  • Official degree-audit review and posting.
