About Orientation

Orientation is a program facilitated by the Student Services Division of Chattanooga State. The purpose of orientation is two-fold; 1) to provide intense student support and appropriate education and training concerning enrollment, financial aid and the registration processes of the college, and 2) to develop in each student an understanding of the information, strategies and opportunities available to build the foundation for a rich and successful college experience.

Fees

The orientation fee is $10. This fee will be automatically billed to you through the Bursar's Office.

What You Need to Know

Your application process should be complete.

  • Make certain that your application is complete and shot records, test scores and official transcript(s) have been received in the Records Office.
  • Registration holds must be removed in order for you to complete course registration.  Please check your registration status. View instructional video about how to check registration holds.
  • Advising sessions are available by contacting the Advising Center at 697-4483.
