Provide official transcripts to the Admissions Office and request evaluation for transfer credit. NOTE: It is the applicant's responsibility to verify with the Admissions Office the receipt of any transcript and to request evaluation of transfer credits by the Admissions Office.
Take the ACT, SAT or COMPASS test, if applicable.
Have you fulfilled the admission requirements for the Nursing Program?
Provide copy of transfer credits approved by Records Office if you have previous college credit(s) at another accredited college or university.
If the chemistry prerequisite is fulfilled by high school chemistry, the Admissions Office and Nursing/Allied Health Applications Coordinator will need copies of your high school transcript.
Take the TEAS. You must pre-register for the test at least one week in advance. Test scores should be received within four weeks of testing. The cost is $30. Click here for a registration form.
Complete all appropriate prerequisite courses:
CHEM 1010 or High School Chemistry with at least a B grade
Transitional studies courses, if applicable
Students applying for the night program and transition programs must also complete additional prerequisites
Transition Program applicants must provide documentation of at least 400 hours of employment as an LPN or Paramedic within the past two years
