Have you fulfilled the admissions requirements for Chattanooga State?
- Complete application or readmission form. CSTCC Admissions information.
- Provide official transcripts to the Admissions Office and request
evaluation for transfer credit.
NOTE: It is the applicant's responsibility to verify with the Admissions Office the receipt of any transcript and to request evaluation of transfer credits by the Admissions Office. - Take the ACT, SAT or COMPASS test, if applicable.
Have you fulfilled the admission requirements for the Nursing Program?
- Complete and submit the Nursing Application form.
- Provide copy of transfer credits approved by Records Office if you have previous college credit(s) at another accredited college or university.
- If the chemistry prerequisite is fulfilled by high school chemistry, the Admissions Office and Nursing/Allied Health Applications Coordinator will need copies of your high school transcript.
- Take the NET/HOBET test. You must pre-register for the test at least one week in advance. Test scores should be received within four weeks of testing. The cost is $25 for the paper and pencil version and $35 for the computerized version. Either format is acceptable. Click here for more information about this test.
- Complete all appropriate prerequisite courses:
- CHEM 1010 or equivalent, if applicable
- Transitional studies courses, if applicable
- Students applying for the night program and transition programs must also complete additional prerequisites
