Nursing & Allied Health

Apply to a Nursing & Allied Health Program

The following steps are specific to Nursing and Allied Health students.

Step 2: Attend a program information session

Attendance at an information session is required for Radiologic Technology, Dental Assisting and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). These sessions are strongly encouraged for all programs. These sessions provide an opportunity to ask questions and to get important information about the application and selection process. View our Information Sessions calendar

Step 3: Schedule an appointment with an academic advisor to develop an academic plan

It is best to wait until the college admission process is completed prior to making an advising appointment. Once admission is complete, schedule an appointment with your assigned advisor or contact the Division Advisor at 423-697-4782.

Step 4: Complete the program application prior to the deadline

Download the "Program Packet" for all necessary forms.

Step 5: Schedule a TEAS Test*

The TEAS exam is not required for Fire Science, Dental Assisting, Pharmacy Technician, Emergency Medical Services, or any of the Advanced Certificate programs. Review the TEAS registration form and information sheet in your Program Packet for important details and facts. This test must be taken by program deadline. TEAS test can be retaken every 6 months – 2 year limit on results. TEAS Registration Form
