Are there any new courses?
This fall, you can take a new course titled Motorsports: Business, Regulations, Economics and History. You will learn the history of motorsports, explore the motorsports industry, and learn about popular drivers. This one credit hour course is not part of any degree or diploma program but can be used as an elective or special interest course.

Is there financial aid available?
Yes, a number of financial aid opportunities are available to students including work-study programs, academic scholarships, Pell grants, student loans, and lottery scholarships. Any student enrolled in a diploma program is eligible for the Wilder-Naifeh Technical Skills Grant, a $1,250 award, which covers nearly all of the tuition costs for a one-year program. Will there be job placement?
Motorsports is a $475 billion industry and there are many job opportunities in a wide variety of fields. For all Chattanooga State students and graduates, job placement services are available. These services include resume writing and interviewing workshops.
