Susan Aizenberg


Susan Aizenberg is co-editor of The Extraordinary Tide: New Poetry By American Women and Contributing Editor to Nebraska Review. Her first collection, Peru, appeared in Graywolf's Take Three: Agni New Poets Series, which as been chosen as a "Recommended Book" by both the Poetry and Small Press editors of Amazon.com, and as a "Noted Book" by American Poet. She is the author more recently of Muse (Southern Illinois UP), a prize winner in the Crab Orchard Review competition and chosen one of the top ten poetry books of the year by the editors of ForeWord Magazine. She's a two-time winner of the Individual Artist's Fellowship from the Nebraska Arts Council, and her poems appear in such journals as Chelsea, Laurel Review, Prague Review, Prairie Schooner, Third Coast, and others. She teaches at Creighton University in Nebraska.
