Patti White


Patti White teaches American literature at Ball State University and is the author of Gatsby’s Party: The System and the List in Contemporary Literature (Purdue 1992) and a book of poems, Tackle Box, the 2001 Anhinga Prizewinner. In 1994 she won the Hopewell Prize for Poetry and in 2000, first prize from Literal Latte for “the Love Zombies” and first prize in The MacGuffin National Poet Hunt for “The Elegant-Armed Anemone.” Her poems have appeared in numerous journals, such as The MacGuffin, Mississippi Review, and Nimrod.
