Ken SmithKen Smith was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, serving two terms of duty. Ken piloted rescue helicopters and was awarded several medals for his military service, including a Navy Commendation Medal, Four Strike/Flight Air Medals, Five Bronze Stars, an Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Korea), a Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device, and a Navy Achievement Medal with Combat "V" and Award Citation. Ken was laid to rest in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
