Welcome to the Department of Life Sciences. Biology, Environmental Sciences, and Geology are disciplines within the department.

Students majoring in the sciences can take all the appropriate courses at Chattanooga
State and receive an associates degree (A.S. or A.A.) before transferring to a four year institution to complete the bachelors degree. Science courses that support pre-professional programs such as Pre-Pharmacy, Pre-Medicine, Pre- Dental, and Pre-Veterinary are also regularly offered.
