STEP 1: Apply for admission
Submit a Chattanooga State Admissions Application to the Admissions Office (first floor of Student Center Building) and pay the $15 application fee.STEP 2: Take the TTC Admissions Test
All first time TTC students must take the HOBET Diagnostic tests in math and reading vocabulary. Applicants will receive a test admissions ticket when an application is submitted. The tests are administered in the Testing Center located on the second floorof the Student Center in room 262.
STEP 3: Apply for the Wilder-Naifeh Technical Skills Grant (WNTSG)
All prospective students who reside in Tennessee are encouraged to apply for the WNTSG lottery scholarship by visiting or contacting the Financial Aid Office (423.697.4402) located on the second floor of the Student Center Building or online at www.chattanoogastate.edu. Awards are granted up to $2,000.STEP 4: Schedule an interview
Contact Michael Matthews, Massage Therapy Program Director, at (423) 468-1150 toschedule an interview. The massage therapy class size is limited so prospective students
are encouraged to schedule the interview as soon as possible after applying for admission.
STEP 5: Health examination/background check
Students selected for the massage therapy program are required to obtain a health examination, which must be completed prior the first day of class. This includes a criminal background check. Students will also be subject to random drug testing at his/her own cost.STEP 6: Register for class, pay tuition and fees
Register for class at the Tennessee Technology Center office. Registration is not complete until the tuition and fees are paid at the Bursar’s Office.
