ADMISSION INFORMATION
- Submit a completed “application for admission to CSTCC” and pay a non-refundable application fee to the Admission Office located on the first floor of the Student Center building or online.
- Submit a Practical Nursing application to the Practical Nursing Program.
- A complete application consists of the following:

- The two page Practical Nursing application form
- Sign up for and successfully pass the “Nursing Entrance Test” * Passing NET scores must be within two (2) years of entrance into the program.
- An official copy of high school transcript or GED test scores and any other schools or colleges attended. Only transcripts in a sealed envelope mailed from the school attended will be accepted.

- Selection criteria is subject to change based on the “complete application” pool for the next available class scheduled and is subject to the discretion of the PN Director.
- Notification of acceptance will not be made until all admission requirements have been met.
- Students having completed Nutrition (Biology 1430); regular Anatomy & Physiology I & II (Biology 2010 & 2020); or a one semester anatomy class (Biology 1060/1061) with a “B” or better can be considered exempt from testing in these subjects during the fundamental section in the Practical Nursing program. The course(s) must be within 5 years of entrance into Practical Nursing.
- Those students completing the regular A&P I & II or Biology 1060/1061, and Nutrition will receive bonus points towards acceptance into the program.
- Once accepted into the program a complete health physical will have to be provided at the student’s expense.
- Students accepted into the program are required to have a criminal background check. Any student not complying with this requirement will not be eligible to attend the program. A failed background check will prevent attendance in the program due to clinical facility requirements.
- All students are subject to random semesterly drug screening at their own expense.
