The Chattanooga State
Foundation

The
Chattanooga State Foundation was chartered in 1977 by citizens
interested in the educational well-being of Chattanooga State
students, faculty and staff.
In
addition to providing more than $100,000 annually for student
scholarships, the Foundation underwrites a strong faculty and
staff development program ensuring that Chattanooga State
employees can expand their expertise in technology,
instructional methodology and effectiveness.
Few of these resources are available through State
funding.
The
Chattanooga State Foundation is a private, nonprofit
organization and maintains a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status from the
U.S. Internal Revenue Service.
The Foundation is supported by private donations and
contributions, tax-deductible as allowed by law.
Through
an annual fund, Chattanooga State faculty and staff contribute
more than $27,000 each year to help the Foundation carry out its
missions. Members of the Chattanooga State Family realize the importance
of the opportunities provided by the Foundation.
