Students attending Meacham Writers' Workshop at Chattanooga StateTwice a year, Chattanooga State partners with UTC for the Meacham Writers' Workshop. Offered each fall and spring, Meacham brings international writers to Chattanooga to meet with students and members of the community interested in creative writing. Visiting writers read from their own works and meet with participants to help participants with their own writing. The program is free and open to the public. Support for the Meacham Writers' Workshop comes from a variety of sources including the Chattanooga State Humanities & Fine Arts division. For more on the Meacham or to see the latest schedule, visit the Meacham web site.

A number of English courses are now available in various online formats. For more information about these and similar courses, visit the Chattanooga State Center for Distributed Education web site and select Courses from the site menu.
