Hobbies & Special Interests:
Having graduated from UTC with bachelor's degrees in Environmental Science and Sociology, I returned for a Master's in Writing, and I am now pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Leadership and Learning at UTC. I've taught as an adjunct professor for the UTC Communication department for ten years and I really believe that students learn best when given the opportunities and facilities to explore themselves creatively. I love television and film and I'm focusing on teaching students how to tell stories visually--from the initial ideas to a final product that they can share with an audience.
I love Chattanooga State, I love the resources that are available for Media Technology, and I think everyone should be listening to our online radio station at WAWL.org.
